These short video intros were filmed and created between the months of September 2007 and January 2008 during a 4-month Students for Development internship program in the Philippines. The purpose of this cross-cultural internship was to continue in the research, design and development of an eco-cultural village for the Winaca Foundation in La Trinidad, Philippines.

The content of these videos are research based and experience driven. Our focus was with kawayan (bamboo) and its use as a rapidly renewable resource, building material, and tool for developing sustainable communities, industries and healthier livelihoods for the Philippines and other developing regions.
